Totally overshadowed by Rolls-Royce since the mid-1960s, the Bentley brand was looking for a new model to revive its popularity. The Bentley Turbo R was the luxury sedan that brought the brand back to prominence. Built in just over 7000 units between 1985 and 1997, the Turbo R has the same chassis as the Mulsanne and is equipped with the engine block of the Turbo version of the latter.
With a 320 horsepower block and an improved suspension, the Bentley Turbo R provides access to the pleasure of the brand and to enjoy a model recognized at the time as the first Bentley to deserve this name for decades.
This Turbo R is offered for sale with Belgian registration documents, service book and invoices.
The car has been well maintained. It starts and runs without any problem.
Nevertheless, it has a major defect to correct (see below).
Work to be done: electronic default when the vehicle is switched on. The opening/closing of the doors works permanently in an untimely way. That does not prevent from driving but does not allow a use of the vehicle in good conditions.
Visual defect: some paint bubbles can be seen at the rear of the vehicle.
